Life Spins a Wheel

Life spins a wheel

Life goes up, down and all around,
some are challenged as life bears down.

Spin that frown on a wheel,
warm a fearful chill, let them know it comes from your heart,
and undeniably real.

A frown spun 180,
only rivals a smiling baby.

Remove doubts and a questionable maybe,
Dry the tears and calm a crying baby.

When life spins a wheel,
let them feel, for nothing is better
than a smile propelling a child’s pinwheel.

Missing Amor

Missing Amor

I’m a man mining iron-ore,
my love for you is critically cored,
I never thought our love would become such a chore.

This lonely park, here I sit in the dark.
our outcome is stark, I still have light in my heart,
but no one can save our day, not even Tony Stark.

Content with our love swaying on the shore,
like a farmer wanting crops and nothing more.
I know we’ve been on an unstable tour,
I want to base our love on a little bit more,
where is my missing amor?

Clean Spokes

Clean Spokes

Around a wheel comes a hub and spoke,
the hub’s tension tightens each spoke.
The tension drew everyone in as he spoke.

He wanted his lyrics to be clean,
how could he when he was never seen.
Here comes bath time for a regretful scene.

He spoke while others wrote,
he dove while others rode a boat.
He eloped while others scrubbed their marriage with soap.

Road Construction

Road Construction

New roads are paved,
old roads are maintained when shaved.

Rural India maintains its roads by hand,
dirt, grit and sand, making a road to the band.

There’s much in acquiring a fan to your band,
some are driven, others walk in sand.

A road may be forked and split,
the same can be said of code in a hub hosted by git.

Footsteps

Everyone's footsteps start out small...

Holiday Cheer in a Chair

Holiday Cheer in a Chair

Come around here, rest your legs beside a chair,
strengthen your legs as you come down each stair.

You must not hibernate,
there’s too much at stake.

For goodness sake, leave that to a bear.
You've got holiday parties to bear
and ugly Christmas sweaters to wear.

Company parties with eggnog, liquored and spiced.
Attempts at the President’s vice to become your new vice.

We’ll keep your secret, as you sit there in Victoria’s underwear.
Stay clear of yesteryear, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Pill Run with a Pilgrim

Pill run with a Pilgrim

Take a pill for the person acting like a pill.
Food is ever-present and bottoms sit still.

Pharmaceuticals in the hands of a pilgrim on the run,
sounds like a line surely someone will shun.

Holidays produce a busy run,
and repeats of a lackluster ‘Yes, hun’
Cinnamon bun - food faces our faces and causes sleepy fun.

Happy Holidays - and yes, I'm done :)

Sadness Rears from the Rear

Sadness Rears from the Rear

Sadness is not always clear,
however, when tears appear, they're always clear.
Some appear because of a jeer or fear.
Happy tears fall from a cascading tier.

When you no longer hear the cheers,
dare not fear, silence has a lesson for you to hear.

Heat your courage and allow it to sear -
Some days are cold and sometimes we don’t hear
our happiness sizzling from the burner on the rear.

Snowflake Fall

Snowflake Fall

Big or small, a snowflake will fall.
In the midst of it all, you’ll forget yourself, small or tall.

Carousel around snowflake fall,
escape a hall of walls - get out of the mall.
Stick your tongue out and taste each snowflake fall...

Life Bakes a Cake

Life Bakes a Cake

Life will toughen you,
turning off the oven,
means, no muffin for you.

Life is not a piece of cake,
halfway through the bake,
you discover the yeast is fake.
You’ll never rise at that rate.

Life is refined outtake after outtake,
never give up, time makes and reveals what’s at stake!

Sole Soul

Sole Soul

Whose soul will climb a pole when it’s time to take role?

Running through tolls,
coming from underground,
you’re an inspirational mole.

Courage must embrace the toll,
you’ll be under more pressure,
than an orange from the company Dole.

Your inspiration is running through souls,
faster than Darren Sproles, running through Dr.Scholl’s soles.

Become Possible

Become Possible, the future depends on it...

Crafting Camel

Crafting Camel

Craft a light switch,
watch the bit of wit become lit,
look at the light bulb formed from a stitch.

Ambition is shaken after every bump,
it becomes thirsty after every hump.

Water your ambition with a watery drink,
ah, now you’re starting to regularly think.

Attach your goals to a panel,
strap that to the back of a camel,
wick the sweat from your flannel.
you’re now watching camels on the discovery channel.

Mistletoe

Mistletoe
Make a girl’s toes curl to a tippy toe,
while she’s kissing you under a mistletoe.

Kiss her progressively slow,
just go with the flow,
She’s given you her assurance.
Now there’s no need to consult Flo
from Progressive Insurance.  :-)

Plate

Plate

A resting place for my food,
a throne set before me, before I chew.

A moving force, I’m surfing tectonic,
I have one in my arm, now I’m bionic.

My date found a mistake,
my phone went to sleep late,
armor missing a plate, here comes a heated debate.
Now I’m running nude while eating off a plate.

Orange Juice

Orange Juice

There’s an orange stuck in my door-hinge,
I think I’ll make orange juice from my orange friend.

Back and forth, my door bends,
drops of juice tend to my thirsty trend.

A swinging caboose inside a passenger caboose,
I’ll grab one and offer the other a tall glass of orange juice.

Children's Inspirational Community

Children’s Inspirational Community

With a 100 dollar visa card,
I’d compose inspirational cards
to kids in Children’s hospital, their smiles- I’d be sure to guard,
and rhyme like a modern-day Bard.

Along with their story, I’ll illustrate a picture, in all its glory.

I’ll print it all out on a card, I want them to remember - their fear is charred!

I’ll capture their dreams as an inspirational scribe,
before you know it, we’ll intensify and make air waves vibe.

All I need to know is their name, concerns, and likes.
I’ll rhyme a story even a toothless fish can bite!

I’ll let them know, in a bed, we all rest,
but by their bed, I’m writing for the best!

I’ll tell them, “we’re in this journey together and the whole world I told,
I didn’t think you’d mind, your courageous.  And your fear - I sold!”

They’re resting their strength for the next quest,
until then, I’ll let them know, I’m fighting for them - even when my pencil is at rest!

Elliptical Tush

Elliptical Tush

A tush motivated from the mush,
while another tush is elliptically commanded - to mush!

Beads of sweat scour baggy sweats,
it looks like a bakery-
butter and rolls are making bets.

Step after step, how many sets have you stepped?

You’ve finished your workout, you’re done exercising clout.
Set your route to enroute, otherwise,
you’ll never make it to the title bout.

Playground

Playground

Around a playground is joyous sound,
jump ropes go round and round.
nowhere in sight and nowhere onsite is a frown.

Monkey bar battles persist round after round.

Children play and some may tattle,
depending on the size of the rattle.

Boys and girls eschew the playground cooties.

Children go from wearing booties,
escaping cooties, treasure hunting and discovering booty.
Give ‘em fifteen years and they’ll treasure their finds and caress a fine booty.

Passionate Whistle

Passionate Whistle

Streaming sounds of a whistle,
bystander assaulting with an audio missile.

If you’re not careful, she’ll shoot your heart with a pistol,
she’s packing more nutrients than milk thistle,
cleaning up the competition, she’s one sexy Bissell.

A Love Polished Kiss

A Love Polished Kiss

Kiss a woman who’s Polish,
upon your lips lay a polish,
your unclaimed lips she’s attempting to abolish.

Lay with her near a tile,
near your heart, lays her smile,
always remember - her love is longer than any given mile.

True love is not a trial - no expiration date,
and you’re not even letting the jury make it a debate.

Bus Ride

Bus Ride

Wait for a slow clock,
from a city or neighborhood block,
time to depart the bus stop.

Up and down, the tires and ground,
move on each other and pound.

Noisy sounds abound,
going cross-country?
Then you’re riding a Greyhound.

Sunday Night Groceries

Sunday Night Groceries

Grocery store on a Sunday night, women out in yoga pants,
some curves are more appealing than others, depending on the stance.

shake glances at the rate of a twerk dance,
the cashier is working hard in a pant,
the grocery bill awakens you from your lycra induced trance!

Even the yoga instructor is out for the weekend.
yoga is on the couch, eating chocolate
and devouring your meek-friend.
