Mirrored Faucet

Downward flow,
waterfall hits sink bottom, bouncing droplets,
just won’t stop-it, as long as gravity plays its role.

On, off,
hot, cold,
over the sink stands the young and old.

Splashing water on a face while standing on a tile,
mirror on the wall gives a facial trial,
reflection fades but the judge sticks to the trial.

Years of time testing facial lines,
ambition carried by buried lines.

Smile in a box stays on trial.
Remember to smile when you’re on that tile.
